Dear Students and Parents:

We are pleased that you have selected Davidson Academy and that we have selected you. In so doing, we have entered into a reciprocal relationship.

As a student at Davidson Academy, you will have many opportunities for participation and growth. You can obtain here an excellent preparation for college and for life. You can also pursue your own interests and develop your own talents through your involvement in a variety of worthwhile activities. Of course the more you become involved in school life, the more benefit you will receive from your experience at Davidson Academy.

At the same time, your school expects your cooperation, loyalty, and support, so long as you are enrolled here, and even after you receive your diploma. The policies, rules, and regulations set forth in this handbook have been established for your benefit and to make Davidson Academy an institution of which you will always be proud.
