The school has a fine heritage of sports accomplishments and honors. We see athletics as a means of building Christian character as well as accomplishing goals, building team work, creating school spirit and learning to do all things "fervently" for the glory of God.

November 2008 -- Davidson Academy won the State Division II-A championship game against Harding Christian Academy with a score of 36-34. It was the third football championship in four years for Davidson (10-2).
Our sports facilities consist of the Odom Gym for the Lower School, the Huggins Gym for the Upper School, the Arnold Football Stadium, the Tyler Beasley Memorial Soccer Field, the Sam Young Baseball Field, and a softball field. |
