One More Chance to Support Bear Pride Golf Classic 2008!
Even if you weren’t a team member, Committee member, or volunteer for Bear Pride Golf Classic, there is still one more chance to support Davidson Academy’s largest annual fundraising event. There is one silent auction item remaining to be purchased – and it should prove to be popular with our families. Bluegrass Yacht & Country Club donated a certificate for a golf foursome, including carts. The minimum bid is a bargain at $200 (the certificate is valued at $400). Bluegrass is a quality course in a beautiful setting. This is sure to prove a memorable day on the links.
Bidding is now open to our families, trustees, faculty and staff, grandparents, and school friends. To place a bid, simply call or email Pam King (860-5305 or pking@davidsonacademy.com) by noon this Friday, May 9th. You are welcome to stay in touch during the week and to increase your bid by increments of $10. Bid high and bid often – it’s all in support of our students!
