Congratulations to senior Eric Davis, who became the first American General Mr. Football award winner in Davidson Academy history. Davis played fullback/linebacker for the Bears as they won their second straight state title for Division II-A. The award was presented on Monday, November 27, 2006, at Opryland Hotel. Senior Josh Williams was also a finalist for the fullback/linebacker award. Davis was the lead blocker for Williams and for quarterback Justin Overstreet. His top three college choices are Louisville, Alabama and UT-Chattanooga. Davis is the son of Woodie and Yvette Davis. Williams is the son of Michael and Rosita Williams. |
