10 Reasons to Join

Why YOU Should Join DAA:

1. Because it's easy to become a partner, and it only costs $25 per family (plus you get a bound hard-copy of the DA Directory)!
2. Because we need you!
3. Because your participation goes to fund projects that directly affect your child (the purchase of a DA school bus - 2006, funding the salary of a full time Spanish teacher - 2001, teacher workroom supplies, & more)!
4. Because having maximum family participation in the DAA organization allows Davidson Academy to be eligible for grant money that we would not be eligible for otherwise!
5. Because it's cheaper and far healthier than a family trip to McDonald's!
6. Because DAA lends support and appreciation to your children's teachers by hosting teacher appreciation luncheons, coordinating classroom volunteers, and hosting teacher Christmas appreciations!
7. Because studies show that DAA membership can actually reduce the signs of aging!
8. Because with increased enrollment and an impending move to Sumner County, there has never been a more exciting time to get involved in what is going on at Davidson Academy!
9. Because your child wants you to join DAA!
10. Because if your child's classroom gets 100% participation in DAA, they get an extra recess (Lower School)  or an extra Bear Wear Day (Upper School)!

Won't you help DAA achieve 100%? You can do so by completing the form that will be sent home with the students or mailed, and returning it to Davidson Academy. Lower School students should return forms to their teachers, and Upper School students may mail the form in or turn it into their English teacher. Thank you for your support!
