Our goal is to foster the educational, spiritual, and emotional growth of
each child at Davidson Academy by promoting health and well being.
Davidson Academy is committed to providing optimal health for all students.
- Decrease students' health-related absenteeism.
- Reduce or eliminate health issues that impair learning.
- Educate students and parents to prevent or reduce health problems
- Help students achieve the highest degree of learning by being healthy students.
Our resident RN, Krista Hockaday, is available to deal with health issues, to
monitor the dispensing of prescription medicine under the parent's authority, and
to educate the students and staff concerning health needs. The nurse's office is
in the Lower School building.
