Following are lists of required reading for students entering grades seven through 12 in the fall of 2009. Students will be tested on these books during the first day of class; therefore, these books should be completed before the first day of school. Students in grades K-6 are also expected to participate in summer reading, and each teacher has provided a grade-specific list of suggested titles from which students may choose.
Summer reading packets, with instructions on what is expected, will be distributed during the final week of classes in the students' English classes. They will also be available in the Upper School front office during the summer break.
