The primary purpose of the Davidson Academy Upper School Student Council is to enhance student life by working on behalf of the students with the faculty and administration of Davidson Academy. Members promise to adhere to and exemplify the values of respect, honesty, loyalty, and service and to be servant leaders in their school and community.
The Student Council is made up of 3 Student Council Officers, and 3 Student Council Class Officers from each grade, 9 – 12.

The Student Council’s theme for the 2009/2010 school year is DA: Doing Our Part. The Student Council is doing its part by placing recycling bins throughout the Upper School and by getting a recycling dumpster for the school.
