Tutoring and ACT Prep

On-site tutoring is available for students in all grades.
For more information and fees, contact Jamie Sanderson (Lower School) or Bradleigh Sherry (Upper School) at (615) 860-5300. Lower School Tutoring is available by DA faculty.

Mu Alpha Theta, the Upper School’s math honor society, provides complimentary peer math tutoring. High school students are paired with younger students and meet as needed or weekly.

The Guidance Department also offers an ACT prep course several times throughout the year. For a one time fee of $100, students can participate in the prep course as often as they would like.

  • College Counseling/Placement

    Davidson Academy offers an extensive college counseling program that encourages students to prepare early for college admission and to consider a broad range of post-secondary education opportunities. Students and their families are carefully guided through the college application and admission process.

    Davidson Academy strives to go beyond academics and extracurricular activities when preparing students for college, life, and eternity. Our school counselor regularly meets with students to talk about a wide range of topics, from choosing the right college to issues at school or even home.

    Monthly newsletters are emailed to juniors and seniors to inform them of pertinent information on testing, scholarships, college visits, etc.
