Dance

“Let them praise his name with dancing.” Psalm 149:3

Pre-Ballet
Getting children moving at an early age is a lifetime advantage. Dancers will learn about music, movement, coordination, special relations, and the basics of ballet. For students in K-3 and K-4.

Ballet
Dancers will learn classical ballet techniques along with grace, poise, flexibility, balance, self discipline and confidence. There are four levels of ballet for students of all ages and abilities.

Tap
Great for rhythm and coordination. Several levels are offered for students beginning in K-5 through high school so dancers may learn and continue to develop speed, clarity, and the ability to perform complex rhythmic combinations.

Jazz
Learn jazz technique with fun, upbeat music to develop the dancer’s coordination, rhythm, flexibility and self expression.

Hip-Hop
Hip Hop incorporates a variety of old and new urban dance styles. The dancing represents body movements that go with the beat and rhythm of hip hop music. Hip hop dance is very dynamic and helps dancers improve flexibility, develop body balance and coordination.

Clogging
Clogging originated in the Appalachian mountains over 200 years ago and is growing rapidly all over the United States. Today, clogging is made up of several styles of dance including tap, jazz and hip hop and is performed to all styles of music. In our clogging classes, dancers make rhythm and sounds with their feet and will learn progressions, technique, and musicality. Clogging is a very upbeat and energetic style of dance! New students will start in beginner and move up at the instructor's discretion.
