Distance Learning in Full Swing - Headmaster Joe Bradley

With Davidson Academy being located in Davidson County, we are currently operating under the directive of Mayor John Cooper’s “Safer At Home” order to further mitigate the spread of COVID-19. This will keep our campus closed through Sunday, April 5, while now implementing our distance learning strategy.

As many of you have heard by now, Governor Bill Lee recently extended his recommendation to close public schools in Tennessee from Tuesday, March 31, to Friday, April 24. While we process daily updates from our local, state, and federal leaders, we continue to closely monitor the ever-changing landscape with COVID-19.

Following the first day of living and breathing our new distance learning plan from home, we are excited about the opportunity to remain connected with our students, families, and faculty in these uncertain times. We are proactively ready to move forward, and our team is fully prepared to execute the customized distance learning model in place for the weeks ahead.

If it becomes necessary to make an adjustment to our current status of distance learning with campus closed through Sunday, April 5, we will promptly communicate those details to you and the entire DA community.

Stay safe,

Joe Bradley
