How long have you been a student at DA?  11 years

What is your favorite thing about DA?

How everyone is like a big family and the teachers are so encouraging and kind. 

Which class has been your favorite and why? 

My favorite class has definitely been Coach Clayton’s 8th Grade English class. His class was such a warm and welcoming place, and he always has so much energy which brings a great vibe to his classroom.    

How would you describe the classroom environment at DA?

The classroom environment is so welcoming and all classrooms at DA have an amazing vibe. 

What is your favorite DA tradition?

My Favorite DA tradition is for sure the retreats at the beginning of the year! 

What activities are you involved in at DA?

I'm involved in the  track team, cheer team, Culinary Club, Leave a Legacy Club, FCA, and a student ambassador. 

Choose a DA activity or team that you listed above and describe your experience and how it has impacted you.

I have been on the cheer team since I was in 5th grade, and it has taught me so many life skills. It’s helped me push myself to do hard things that I haven't done before. 

Davidson Academy is a God-focused school. How does that impact life at DA and what does it mean to you?

DA being a God-focused school has impacted my life by showing me that a lot of schools aren't allowed to talk about God and have bible classes where you learn about the gospel, but we do, so that helps me put things into perspective. 

What would you tell someone who was interested in attending Davidson Academy?

They should come check it out and if they do, they won't regret it because it's awesome. 

What has DA taught you about being a leader? 

DA has taught me that leadership is an important quality to have and that there are many opportunities to become a leader in your class, on a team, or in a club.

What activities do you participate in outside of school?

I do swimming and I babysit a lot.
