    Davidson Academy is seeking a Girls Varsity Basketball Head Coach for the 2024-2025 school year.

    We are currently accepting applications for both faculty and staff positions at our new Davidson Academy Preschool opening fall 2024.

    Candidates for teaching positions should have a degree from a 4-year accredited college program and experience working in a preschool or elementary setting. Candidates for assistants and other staff positions should have a high school diploma and experience working in a child-care setting preferred.

    Davidson Academy
    is seeking a part-time High School American Sign Language (ASL) Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year.  The ideal candidate possesses the skills and enthusiasm for the subject area, as well as a desire to see students improve and succeed.  The ASL teacher will be working closely with the foreign language department to produce high-quality instruction and engaging content. A Bachelor’s degree is required and three years of teaching experience is preferred.

    Davidson Academy
    is seeking a full time High School Science Teacher to join the high school faculty for the 2023-2024 school year. The ideal candidate possesses the skills and enthusiasm for the subject area, as well as a desire to see students improve and succeed. Teacher must also supervise investigations and experiments, developing rapport, and maintaining good relationships with students and parents. To be successful, the science teacher should demonstrate sound knowledge within their discipline (Biology, Chemistry, etc.) and a commitment to the principles and mission statement of Davidson Academy. A Bachelor’s degree is required and three years of teaching experience; a Masters degree is preferred.

    Davidson Academy
    is seeking a full time Upper School Chemistry Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. The ideal candidate possesses the skills and enthusiasm for the subject area, as well as a desire to see students improve and succeed. The purpose of this position is to instruct students about chemical elements, compounds, and reactions. Teacher must also supervise investigations and experiments, developing rapport, and maintaining good relationships with students and parents. To be successful, the chemistry teacher should demonstrate sound knowledge of chemistry, be able to apply scientific principles to real-life situations, and successfully teach students with different interests and aptitudes. A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with three years of teaching experience and a Tennessee teaching license with Chemistry endorsement preferred.

    Davidson Academy
    is seeking a Director of Development for the current school year.  The Director of Development is a full-time position and requires a strategic and visionary leader with a positive fundraising, donor relations, and campaign management track record. Duties include fundraising and managing relationships with financial partners, planning fundraising events, interacting with current and former donors to encourage ongoing contributions, and seeking out opportunities for financial support through grants and sponsorships. The successful candidate will be pivotal in securing resources to enhance special programs, facilities, and educational experiences.

    A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Philanthropy, or a related field is required. A minimum of three to five years of experience in fundraising or advancement projects is preferred.
