  Davidson Academy is seeking a part-time High School American Sign Language (ASL) Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.  The ideal candidate possesses the skills and enthusiasm for the subject area, as well as a desire to see students improve and succeed.  The ASL teacher will be working closely with the foreign language department to produce high-quality instruction and engaging content. A Bachelor’s degree is required and three years of teaching experience is preferred.

Candidates for assistants and other staff positions should have a high school diploma and experience working in a child-care setting preferred.

  Davidson Academy is seeking a Director of Development for the 2024-2025 school year.  The Director of Development is a full-time position and requires a strategic and visionary leader with a positive fundraising, donor relations, and campaign management track record. Duties include fundraising and managing relationships with financial partners, planning fundraising events, interacting with current and former donors to encourage ongoing contributions, and seeking out opportunities for financial support through grants and sponsorships. The successful candidate will be pivotal in securing resources to enhance special programs, facilities, and educational experiences.
  
  A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Philanthropy, or a related field is required. A minimum of three to five years of experience in fundraising or advancement projects is preferred.
