Spiritual Life

A God-Focused Campus
We are committed to focusing on God and His word daily at Davidson Academy. This is highlighted through our weekly chapel services every Thursday with a message tailored specifically for our students in each of the three levels (Elementary, Middle, and High School). This is a sacred time set aside every week to come together and worship.

For our Middle and High School chapels, our praise teams lead the service, in which we include corporate worship and biblical teaching. Area pastors come to Davidson Academy to pour into our students. We also have our teachers and students share personal testimonies of God’s goodness in their own lives.
This year, an emphasis is placed on the word 'Jireh' meaning He is Enough, the Lord Will Provide (Genesis 22:14). This overarching theme will be evident throughout our chapels in Quarter 1 and our spiritual retreats. While we will see His provision woven into our messages throughout this year, we will take Quarter 2 to focus on the Fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Quarter 3 will take us into focus on Service and Serving Others (1 Peter 4:10). Finally, we will conclude with Quarter 4 centered on GO! -- as in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) -- taking what we have learned, paired with His love for us and going out to change our world.
