DA Annual Fund - Impacting Tomorrow Today

The 2025-2026 DA Annual Fund seeks to raise $312,000 to fortify the essential pillars that define Davidson Academy. Your investment supports the following areas:

  1. Endowment: Davidson Academy’s endowment aims to be a perpetual source of support for the school and its mission of preparing students for college, life, and eternity. Although in its beginning stages, the goal of the DA endowment will be to provide revenue support for DA’s operating budget. The endowment funds will support nearly every aspect of DA’s operation including Christian life, facility improvements, faculty compensation and growth, and need-based financial aid. Our goal is to build a lasting legacy of support for generations to come.
  2. High School Hallways: The updates to the high school hallways began this summer and are ongoing with fresh paint, new plaques, updated framing and fresh branding.
  3. Safety and Security: Supporting 2 full time security officers on our campus which provide leadership and expertise to keep the DA campus as safe and secure as possible.
  4. Middle and High School Retreat Expenses: Because our retreats are a vital part of our student experience, the curriculum committee asked that they be sponsored by the school.  Thanks to the DA Annual Fund, this year was the first time that retreat costs were not a parent responsibility.
  5. Fine Arts: Supporting our Fine Arts programming by upgrading multiple accessories in the classrooms and performance space. This will allow us to continue fostering talent, teamwork, and creativity in our K-12 students and enhance the productions on campus.
  6. Digital Signage: Two new video boards were installed on campus to provide messaging for athletic, fine arts, and other activities in the stadium and gym areas. The programs used for the digital video boards will allow students to learn programming and video production. This new digital signage has also allowed for additional advertising to take place during events.
  7. Scoreboard Topper: A new topper was installed on our football field scoreboard.  It frames our new digital video board and adds even more DA spirit to our home game experiences.
  8. DA Preschool technology upgrade: Our new state of the art Preschool opened in January and now has over 100 students.  Some technology infrastructure upgrades are necessary in order to continue to add faculty and additional classrooms.
  9. Teacher Compensation: Funding Bonuses and salary increases allowing your child’s favorite teachers to be supported.
  10. Need-Based Financial Aid: Support deserving children and families attending DA who could not otherwise attend for financial reasons.
  11. A 24 Passenger Bus:  As some of our fleet begin to reach their end of life, we are budgeting for new busses to replace them.  Our bus availabilty is vital to many of our families and we want to continue to offer this service, as well as add new routes in the future.
