Over the years we have seen the impact and influence that Davidson Academy grandparents have had in the lives of our students. As a way of honoring and serving YOU, we established the Davidson Academy Grandparents Association. We are so excited to foster greater connection and involvement with our grandparents. It is our privilege to provide opportunities for you to further impact the lives of your precious grandchildren.
The DA Grandparents Association wants to welcome participation from all grandparents and honorary grandparents from Nashville and afar.
Here are a few of the activities we have planned for our grandparents…
• Grandparent Night (free admission) at the following home games:
Volleyball –
Middle School - Sept 6 at 6:30pm
High School - Sept 12 at 7pm
Football –
5/6 grade - Sept 21 at 5pm
Middle School - Sept 21 at 6pm
High School - Oct 6 at 7pm
Soccer -
Girls Varsity - Oct 3 at 5pm

• Grandparent Designated Walking Hours in our gym, prayer garden, and outside track
Lower School Gym hours – M-F 8:10am-8:40am and 12 pm-1:10pm
Prayer Garden – Open always
Track around the Football Field – M-F 7am-9am
• Grandparent Prayer Group - 'Grandparents in Prayer' will meet the first Tuesday of each month beginning on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 10am in the lower school conference room. ALL GRANDPARENTS ARE WELCOME! No registration - just show up! Tara Rust is chairperson - please email tararust12@gmail.com for more information.
• Elementary Grandparent Story/Reading Program - Please come visit us at DA and read to your grandchild's class! Choose your favorite books, your grandchild's favorites, or our librarian can have some ready for you. Available for grades K3-5th on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday 8 am- 8:55 am, Thursday 9:50 am- 10:20 am, Monday - Friday 12:10 pm - 12:40 pm and Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 12:40 pm - 1:05 pm. . Please fill out this form and we will be in contact with you with approval and details.
