Financial Aid
Davidson Academy believes that there is no greater investment for a family than in their child's education. We know that a DA education may require a sacrifice for many of our families, so we offer all grade levels the opportunity to apply for need-based tuition assistance.
Davidson Academy uses SmartAid for financial aid verification and need determination. Our financial aid committee uses this estimated need guideline in making awards. All information is considered strictly confidential.
In the spirit of partnership, every family will contribute toward their child's education. The total amount received will be based on the demonstrated need and availability of funds. The average award given is 20% and it is very rare that an award is over 50% of tuition cost. Admissions decisions are made separately of a family's financial aid application.

Financial aid must be applied for each year. Financial aid awards will be issued to returning students and new students at the end of each month beginning in February 2024. Applications for the '24-'25 school year are open and can be filled out at any time. They must be verified by SmartAid to be considered. Please complete applications at your earliest convenience as financial aid at Davidson Academy is first come/first served.
