How long have you been a student at DA? Three years.
What is your favorite thing about DA?
I like the positive environment and the fun activities/events.
Which class has been your favorite and why?
My favorite class has been biology because we do lots and labs which help me have a better understanding of what we are learning.
How would you describe the classroom environment at DA?
It is a positive environment where the people around me want to become more like Christ while also having fun and enjoying being together.
What is your favorite DA tradition?
I enjoy going to pep rallies for special events as well as the hallway decorating during homecoming week.
What activities are you involved in at DA?
I am a member of Freshman Student Council.
Choose a DA activity or team that you listed above and describe your experience and how it has impacted you.
Being a member of Student Council has given me the opportunity to help organize events for my grade. I’ve really enjoyed working with other students and seeing how we grow closer as we work together and create fun experiences for our grade.
Davidson Academy is a God-focused school. How does that impact life at DA and what does it mean to you?
It helps me know that the people who work/go to DA want to know Jesus and want to create a spiritual atmosphere where we can all use our God given talents and abilities to work together.
What would you tell someone who was interested in attending Davidson Academy?
I would stress that Davidson Academy has smaller class sizes that allow you to get to know everyone. It’s also a really beautiful campus.
What has DA taught you about being a leader?
Being on a campus with students of so many different ages has given me the opportunity to connect with elementary students through Bear Camp and other activities. It has taught me that being a leader means setting a good example as someone younger students can look up to.
What activities do you participate in outside of school?
I dance at Nashville Ballet.
