How long have you been a student at DA? 10 years

What is your favorite thing about DA? 

My favorite thing about DA is the people. The staff is so helpful, and there are so many great opportunities for students.

Which class has been your favorite and why? 

Biology—Mrs. Breece is a great teacher, and I feel like the class has prepared me well for future science classes.

How would you describe the classroom environment at DA? 

The classroom environment is very family-like. The teachers treat you with respect, and the students are friendly, which makes you feel comfortable and supported.

What is your favorite DA tradition?

Homecoming Pep Rally!

What activities are you involved in at DA? 

FCA, Chapel Committee, Soccer.

Being involved in Chapel Committee has been a great experience. It has taught me that leadership starts with using your voice, speaking up, and being willing to share your ideas.

Davidson Academy is a God-focused school. How does that impact life at DA and what does it mean to you?
Being at a God-focused school has helped me grow in my faith and has given me opportunities to talk about my faith with my teachers.

What would you tell someone who was interested in attending Davidson Academy?

I would tell them that if they are willing to put in the effort and work hard, they can be successful at DA. Things don’t always come easy, but the hard work is worth it.

What has DA taught you about being a leader?

DA has taught me that leadership opportunities are everywhere. You just have to recognize them and be willing to step up and take them.
