How long have you been a student at DA? 14 years

What is your favorite thing about DA?
The annual High School retreat.

Which class has been your favorite and why?
My favorite class has been Biology because  our teacher finds fun and interesting ways for us to learn and review.

How would you describe the classroom environment at DA? The classrooms are welcoming. Christ is in everything we do.

What is your favorite DA tradition?
Our Thanksgiving family meal.

What activities are you involved in at DA?
I’m on the Swim Team as well as Track and Field. 

Choose a DA activity or team that you listed above and describe your experience and how it has impacted you.
The coaches in Track and Field are wonderful and they have impacted my life in a big way. They have encouraged me to try new things and taught me how to push myself to improve.

Davidson Academy is a God-focused school. How does that impact life at DA and what does it mean to you?
God's name is spoken at Davidson every day.  That has shown me that He is always with me - even at school -  and that I can be bold in my faith.

If you are a senior, what are your plans for college and do you know what you want to study?
I will be swimming at a college in Georgia while I major in nursing.

I would tell them that there is a wonderful Christian community at DA. Our teachers are always here to help and you never need to be alone. 

What has DA taught you about being a leader?
Always be the bigger person and help lead others in the right direction in a kind and loving way.

What activities do you participate in outside of school?
I fish, ride horses, and swim competitively.
