How long have you been a student at DA?
What is your favorite thing about DA?
How easy it is to connect with friends as well as teachers and staff.
Which class has been your favorite and why?
That’s really hard because a lot of them are pretty great but I’d say AP Bio because it was really fun and the teacher was amazing!
How would you describe the classroom environment at DA?
The classroom environment is really nice because of the class size. They are big enough that we hear a variety of perspectives but small enough that we get one-on-one attention from our teachers.
What is your favorite DA tradition?
I have two favorites: decorating our hallways for Homecoming and Bear Walk, when our football team and cheerleaders walk through The Grove before our home games. The Grove is where all the DA families tailgate and cheer us on as we head to the field.
What activities are you involved in at DA?
Varsity Cheer Captain, President of Rotary Interact Club, Historian for HOSA-Future Health Professionals
Choose a DA activity or team that you listed above and describe your experience and how it has impacted you.
Varsity Cheer has been the best experience I have had at DA. The team is my family and they have taught me so many things. I have never felt so much love in one place and I love that I can help lead them this year!
Davidson Academy is a God-focused school. How does that impact life at DA and what does it mean to you?
It makes me feel safe to express my faith in God without being the odd one out or having someone judge me for believing what I do.
If you are a senior, what are your plans for college and do you know what you want to study?
I plan on attending UT Knoxville for Pre-Med. I want to be a cardiologist.
What has DA taught you about being a leader?
To lead with faith and love towards everyone!
What activities do you participate in outside of school?
I’m a cheer coach.
