Since the 8th grade – almost five years.
What is your favorite thing about DA?
The welcoming environment and how friendly everyone is.
Which class has been your favorite and why?
Anatomy with Mrs. Chapman because she makes learning science so much easier and more fun.
How would you describe the classroom environment at DA?
The teachers are willing to work with you individually and the classroom is a very welcoming and safe environment.
What is your favorite DA tradition?
I’ve enjoyed going on the retreat each year and being able to bond with my friends and classmates outside of the school environment.
What activities are you involved in at DA?  (Please state if you hold a leadership position.)
DA Ambassador, Key Club, the Varsity Track Team, FCA, tutor, I lead a girls Bible Study, and ROW (Reach Out for Women)
Choose a DA activity or team that you listed above and describe your experience and how it has impacted you.
The track team has been an amazing experience for me. I have been a member for 5 years now. The coaches are amazing and so uplifting. My team members are great and I always have the best time with them at meets.
Davidson Academy is a God-focused school.  How does that impact life at DA and what does it mean to you?
This impacts DA through education, sports, and day-to-day school life. It means so much to me that my education is Christ-centered. I love that I can go to a teacher or staff member and talk about God or anything about my Faith.
What are your plans for college, and do you know what you want to study?
I plan to attend Lee University and get my major in psychology and a minor in business. I plan to go and get a masters in counseling.
What would you tell someone who was interested in attending Davidson Academy?
This school has been such a blessing in my life. The people are so uplifting, caring, kind, and helpful. This environment is open and welcoming.
What has DA taught you about being a leader?
DA has taught me to not be afraid to stand firm in my faith.
