The teachers at DA truly care about you and want to form relationships with you.

Which class has been your favorite and why?

I have really enjoyed my art class so far and it has been a great way to start my day.

How would you describe the classroom environment at DA?

Engaging and Equipping

What is your favorite DA tradition?

I’m grateful that we get to have a chapel every week as a student body. It’s nice to take a few minutes every week to remember what DA is all about.

What activities are you involved in at DA? (Please state if you hold a leadership position.)

I have been the coach of our Elementary Cross Country Team for the past three years. I am a member of Student Council, Key Club, and a DA Ambassador.

Choose a DA activity or team that you listed above and describe your experience and how it has impacted you.

I thoroughly enjoyed coaching cross country. It was such a great opportunity to pour into those younger than me and instill a love for running in them.

Davidson Academy is a God-focused school. How does that impact life at DA and what does it mean to you?

Teachers integrate faith and learning in the classroom. It is also nice to know that you can go to teachers for help with things even if they aren't about school.

If you are a senior, what are your plans for college and do you know what you want to study?

I have not made a college decision yet and I am unsure of what field I want to study.

What would you tell someone who was interested in attending Davidson Academy?

DA is a great place to grow your faith, academics, and athletics.

What has DA taught you about being a leader?

True leaders are self-less and humble.
