What is your favorite thing about DA?

My favorite thing about DA is the environment as it is very welcoming and feels like a family.

Which class has been your favorite and why?

Because Mrs. Palmore makes learning fun and is a wonderful teacher, her Algebra II class has been my favorite at DA.

How would you describe the classroom environment at DA?

I would describe the classroom environment at DA as flexible. Teachers make sure that each person understands the topic they are teaching and help those who need it.

What is your favorite DA tradition?

My favorite tradition at DA is the The Bear Walk. Before every home football game, the team walks through ‘The Grove’ and all the tailgaters cheer us on.

What activities are you involved in at DA?

I am the Class President of the Class of 2026, a member of the football team, as well as the track and tennis teams.

One team that has impacted my life is football. It has taught me perseverance and how to work well with others.

Davidson Academy is a God-focused school. How does that impact life at DA and what does it mean to you?

With Davidson Academy being a God-focused school, I have grown closer to God with our Chapel services on Thursdays and having the opportunity to talk with my teachers about questions I might have regarding the Bible.

What would you tell someone who was interested in attending Davidson Academy?

If someone was interested in attending Davidson Academy, I would tell them it is a great school with wonderful teachers that make learning enjoyable.
