Surface Pick-Up and Orientation Schedule
School is just three weeks away and along with the back to school shopping list it's time to think about returning your Microsoft Surface to you, or introducing you to your Microsoft Surface.
What you need to know -
STUDENTS NEW TO DAVIDSON ACADEMY - WELCOME!
You and a parent will need to attend an orientation session to pick up your device. Plan on spending about 90-minutes with us as we touch on school policy regarding the use and care of the laptop being assigned to you, as well as assist you in getting logged in and acquainted with the major systems that Davidson Academy uses.
New Student device orientation days are:
- Monday, July 30: 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, July 31: 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, August 1: 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

RETURNING STUDENTS - WELCOME BACK!
Those of you returning to Davidson Academy this year are not required to attend an orientation session. Please come to the Upper School to pick up your device any weekday beginning July 24th until school starts on August 9th, between 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. You should plan on this taking about 20 minutes as you will be required to show that:
- you can successfully log in to your laptop,
- you can access your email account,
- you can access your Blackbaud account, and
- your Office 365 apps are registered and working correctly.
NOTE: You or your parents will need to bring a cell phone because two-factor authentication is required when first logging in to your account.
