Safer At Home Through April 24, 2020 - Headmaster Joe Bradley

As a result of today’s State of Metro address, in which Mayor John Cooper announced extending the “Safer At Home” order through April 24, to further mitigate the spread of COVID-19, Davidson Academy will continue to follow Mayor Cooper’s directive to keep our campus closed through Friday, April 24.

This extension means our DA community will continue to operate under the customized distance learning model that we introduced to our students and families last week. Our faculty and staff are proactively committed to keeping our students engaged in their education via the Zoom digital platform and other online resources for the next three and a half weeks to further prepare them for college, life, and eternity.

While we process daily updates from our local, state, and federal leaders in these uncertain times, we continue to closely monitor the ever-changing landscape with COVID-19. We will promptly communicate any adjustments to our distance learning schedule to you and the entire DA family.

Stay safe at home,

Joe Bradley
Headmaster
