Roadmap to Reopening Davidson Academy

Dear DA Family,

 

It's hard to believe that the first day of school is only a month away!

 

The Davidson Academy COVID-19 Task Force has been working diligently over the last several weeks to create a comprehensive plan for reopening school for in-person instruction on Thursday, August 6, with the health and safety of our students, families, faculty, and staff as the top priority.

 

While we believe our on-campus program gives students the most well-rounded experience, we understand that some of our students may not be able to return to campus due to health risks. For the 2020-2021 school year, we will be launching both on-campus and distance learning programs to accommodate all our families.

Please keep in mind, this plan is for today and we will continue to revise it as the COVID-19 situation evolves. We are closely monitoring the situation daily, while making necessary adjustments as needed to safeguard our Davidson Academy community.

 

We will be sharing a series of videos over the next couple of weeks that will outline the changes you can expect when you arrive on campus.
