Dr. Lindsey Judd Named Davidson Academy Head of School

NASHVILLE - Davidson Academy is excited to announce Dr. Lindsey Judd as our Head of School for the 2024-2025 school year. 

Dr. Judd earned his Doctor of Education from Union University along with his Master of Education and Bachelor of Science from Lipscomb University where he played on the Lipscomb University Men’s Soccer Team. 

Dr. Judd has served as the President of Ezell-Harding Christian School for seven years and previously at Goodpasture Christian School for 17 years as High School Principal, Soccer Coach, and a HS Chemistry and Math Teacher. He also served on the TSSAA Legislative Council from 2015-2018.

Dr. Judd grew up in Charleston, West Virginia prior to moving to Tennessee to attend college. He lives in Goodlettsville with his wife, Penny, and their children, Harper and Lincoln, who will be joining DA as students in the Fall. Dr. Judd and his family are actively involved at Hendersonville Church of Christ, and he serves as the Board Chair of Short Mountain Bible Camp. He also enjoys coaching youth sports through Goodlettsville Baseball, Upward, and MTFC Soccer.

Working alongside the DA faculty and staff and families, we will further cultivate a Christ-centered atmosphere and provide students the opportunity to thrive while honoring God,” said Dr. Judd. 

Dr. Judd will begin his full-time work with us on July 1, 2024, but will also be involved in various transition efforts until then. We look forward to welcoming him and his family to campus!
