While Blackbaud does not provide an app to download, it is a mobile responsive site meaning it automatically changes to fit the device you are reading it on. Here are instructions to add a bookmark to your home screen for easy (app-like) access to Blackbaud. (Editor note: My apologies to my son for sharing my homescreen with everyone at Davidson Academy. I hope he can forgive me.)
Apple Products: To add a website bookmark to your home screen, open up the site in Safari, and tap the share arrow. Then find the Add to home screen button and tap it. Tap Add to add it. Now, tap the home button (or your iPhone X equivalent) to return to the home screen. You’ll see a new icon, which can be tapped to take you straight back to the site.
Android: Navigate to the web page you’d like to add to the home screen. Then, press the three dots at the top-right of the Chrome window. Press Add to Home screen. You will see that the website will now appear on the Home screen like an app. Tap this anytime you want to access that website.
Remember, the easiest way to access Blackbaud from your desktop is to visit www.davidsonacademy.com then click on "myDA" at the top of the homepage.
